He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Refugio Valtierra and Elisa Valtierra; his sister Maria Rojas Rodriguez; his cousin Esteban Sanchez; his nephews, Manuel Rodriguez (Meno) and Gustavo Caudillo (Tavito); his son Christopher Benavides; his daughter-in-law Corina Benavides of Brawley; his daughter DeAnna Valtierra of Adelanto, CA; his grandchildren, Daydrien Benavides, Isaiah Botello and Brina Botello; his siblings, Maria Elena Sanchez (Ricardo) of San Jose, Frances Valtierra of San Bernardino, Yolanda Webster (Richard) of Rancho Cucamonga, Angie Valtierra of Brawley, Josie Valtierra of Eastvale, CA, John M. Valtierra of Prescott Valley and Raymond Valtierra of Los Angels; his uncles, Guillermo of Mexico and Gonzalo of Chicago; and his nephews, Rudy Hernandez, Nathan Hernandez and Jhonny Perez of Brawley. He was also cherished by his uncle during these past months and other numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
