She is survived by: her husband Ruben; her children, Candace Gibbs (Robert), Jennifer Schlafer (Jeff) and James Thomasson; her grandchildren, Stacey Huron-Thomasson of Robert Gibbs, Matthew Schlafer, Trevor Schlafer, Madison Schlafer and Coral Thomasson; and her sisters, Penny Taylor, Edna Jones and Doris Welch. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
