He was predeceased by: his mother Florencia Garcia Vazquez; and his son David Garcia Ray. He is survived by: his children, Roger Ray and Veronica Garcia; his stepson Jose Escobedo; and his siblings, Raul Garcia, Abelardo Garcia, Sally Vazquez, Arnulfo Vazquez, Olga Vazquez, Hector Vazquez and Irma Hernandez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
