She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph Haywood and Alice Jane Haywood; her husband Herbert Bars; her siblings, Charles Whitfield and Margaret Whitfield; her grandson Jerome Everage Jr.; and her great grandchild Cornell Farmer Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jerome Everage Desert (Shiela), Victor Lewis Desert (Cindy), Paris Jackson, Delphine Smith (Kenneth) and Carolyn Alex (Larry); her sister Gearldine White; and her grandson Curtis Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frye Chapel & Mortuary of Blythe (633 N 7th St, Blythe, CA 92225). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
