She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente and Amelia. She is survived by: her brothers, Santiago, Jacinto and Julian; her close friend Manuel Medrano; her sons, George Garcia and Christopher Medrano; and her siblings, Rosie Sanchez (Tony), Alice Reyna, Cecilia Padilla, Gloria Navarro, Carmen Limon and Benjamin Limon (Joann).
She was a cancer survivor and the family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Blythe Cancer Resource Center.
