With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gerry Hoemann of Blythe, California, born in Canton, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gerry left this world on November 25, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Albert Hoemann and Ethel Hoemann; and his sisters, Evelyn, Eunice and Elinor.
He is survived by: his sister Erma Mitschke (Mike); his children, Jesse David Cude (Olivia), Michael Cude, Jill Hoemann, Jodi Lucious (Austin) and Katie Dobson (Richard); his stepson Paul Sommerfeld (Debra); and his grandchildren, Charles (Espie), Christian, Austin, Alec, Morgan, Drew, Michael (Karime), Kaylee and Sierra. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (721 E Chanslor Way, Blythe, CA 92225).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Zion Lutheran Church to purchase a memorial bench in Gerry's honor.
