She was predeceased by: her parents, David Doyal and Ada Hoard; her stepfather Richard Hoard; her grandparents, Ephrim and Rosie Blount; her sons, David Lee Washington, Sr. and James Edward Washington; and her grandchildren, Yanika Daniels, Terrance Hughes, Helen Washington and Annie Fields.

She is survived by: her children, Allen Ray, Roosevelt Jr., Martha (Ricky), Rosie (Perry), Sharon (Wilbur) and Gary; and her close friends, Helen Washington and Annie Fields.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frye Chapel (633 N 7th St, Blythe, CA 92225). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Life Church (140 S Willow Ave, Blythe, CA 92225).
