He is survived by: his wife Sheila McGinty; his siblings, Patsy Thompson, Linda McGinty and Larry McGinty (Penny); his children, Patricia Torrealba (Elio), Robert "Bob" McGinty (Kay), Aaron McGinty (Angela), Alan McGinty (Janie), David Colon and Chris Colon; and his faithful sheltie Bailey. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and their partners, 38 great-grandchildren.
