She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harry Wolff; her parents, Maynard Schurter and Hazel Schurter; and her children, Dolly and Dan. She was also cherished by her husband, two children, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many wonderful friends.
Twice, she won the Freedom Foundation Award from Valley Forge.
