He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dennis and Betty Dennis; and his sisters, Virginia and Gloria. He is survived by: his spouse Lee Rodgers; his grandchildren, Jaxon Scott, Ryan Jesse and Nixon John; and his siblings, Michael (Joyce) and Patty Tucson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
