He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Rae McCauley of San Jose; his close friend Linda McKee; his children, Dennis Donovan (Jackie), Sheila Nordwick (Brian), Patty Whitmore (Rick) and Michael Donovan; his nephews, Hugo Goerner, Jim (Elaine) and Brian Donovan; his grandchildren, Dennis Patrick Donovan (Michelle), Matthew Donovan, Erin Naber (Mitch), Sarah Nordwick, Austin Whitmore, Paige Posladek (Carter), Kaleigh Donovan, Kasey Donovan (Jesse), Abby Burnell and Colby Burnell; his great grandchildren, Brody, Brynn, Brevin Naber, Willow Kendall, Marlow, Jane Posladek and Atticus Donovan; and also, Amy McKee and Evan McKee.
After Kathleen's passing, Denny served on the Board of Directors for the Hospice Foundation of the Central Coast.
