It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Howard Galen (Beverly Hills, California), born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on April 16, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his spouse Suzanne; his sons, Douglas Galen (Jodi) and Steven Galen (Laurie Saul); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Samantha, Rachel, Zachary, Andrew and Alyssa. He is also survived by his wife managed, after numerous complications, to obtain visas to visit both Russia and Poland in 1984 where he met some of the survivors of his family who had settled there after the war, thinking all the while that they had no living relatives.
