Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Nelson Kane Sr. (Berkeley, California), born in Bunker Hill, West Virginia, who passed away, on November 29, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Porter "Doll" Kane and Elsie Lancaster Kane; his stepmother Lena Puffenberger Strobridge Kane; and his siblings, Paul Kane, Charles Kane, Edgar Kane, Aretha Regina Kane and Amy Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Palmer Kane; his children, DeLaine Buckley, Dena Kane, Debbie Shumaker (Mitchell Shumaker), Nelson Thomas Hunter Kane II (Becky Kane) and Mark Travis Kane; his grandchildren, Amanda Parsons, Charlotte Parsons Smith, Jessica Dodd Thomas, Tori Kane, Levi Silver, Cody Shumaker and Jacob Shumaker; his great grandchildren, Quenton, Ridley, Lucas, Sidney Thomas and Jackson Shumaker; and his sister Elizabeth Ann Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Musselman High School Future Farmers of America at 126 Excellence Way, Inwood, West Virginia, or the Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church at 9802 Winchester Avenue, Bunker Hill, West Virginia.
