He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hartman and Agatha Hartman (Scott); and his brothers, John "Scott" and Matthew Hartman. He is survived by: his sister Janna Schaefer (Greg); his sisters-in-law, Paula Hartman and Rong Liang; his nieces and nephews, Jenny Hartman Wendel, Eric Hartman (Michelle), Emily Hartman, Carrie Hartman, Silas Schaefer (Caitlynn Krygowski) and Joe Schefer (Ovi); his great-nieces and great-nephews, TateWendel, Max Wendel, Rayna Schaefer and Taevin Schaefer; his friends, Phil Horowitz, Jason Gorski, Joan Glassheim and Elizabeth Pearce; and his pet Theo.
