With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Hughes (Benicia, California), born in San Francisco, California, who passed away on October 7, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth McDonnell and Michael McDonnell; her siblings, Geraldine McDonnell R. S. M. and William McDonnell; and her children, Peter and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, John, Michael (Teri), Mary (Dennis), Stephen (Karen), Mark (Michele), Patrick (Dawn) and Jane (Charlie). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Hospice East Bay.
