He was predeceased by: his children, Ann and James; and his brother Mel. He is survived by: his children, Joe Thurin (Debi), Carol Kemper (Jack), Susanne Olson, Mary Upton (Steve) and Beth Hussar (Frank); his sister Marjorie Walsh; and his sister-in-law Aileen Murphy. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
