He is survived by: his wife Helen Cole of White Mtn; his brother J. W. Cole of Benicia, CA; his children, Ralph Cole (Pam) of White Mtn, Roger Cole (Karen) of Bearwallow, VA, Teresa Hess (James) of Jewell Valley, VA, Shirley Lewis (Freddie) and Sheilah Cox (Michael Looney) of White Mtn, VA; his daughter-in-law Deborah Cole; his close friend Phillip Burress; and his grandchildren, Andrea Smith, Brian Honaker, Carrie Collins, David Hess, Heather Poore, Jennifer Looney, Joshua Cole, Jeremy Roberts, Jessica Vance, Kennedy Harris, Kim Midkiff, Teresa Rutter and Tim Cole.
