She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ester Paul Banes and Clyde Richard Banes; her husband Hugh Kirwin; her siblings, Paul Banes, Roy Banes (Anne), Kenneth Banes (Jeannie) and Grace Banes; her grandson Sean Kirwin; her great grandchild Kaiden Kirwin; and her nieces, Barbara Banes Millan, Deanne Banes and Desiree Mallery.
She is survived by: her brother Kenny; her grandchildren, David II, Michael, Joseph, Brian, Christopher, Austin, Mary, Kyle, Jacob, Brandon, Elizabeth, Donovan, Lauren, Rozlyn and Grace; her sisters, Ida Banes and Helen Banes; and her children, David Kirwin (Sharon), Colleen Willis (Glen), Hugh Kirwin Jr. and Patrick Kirwin (Camille). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Restland Funeral Home (13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75081). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (600 S Jupiter Rd, Richardson, TX 75081). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Restland Cemetery-Veteran II (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243).
