As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gus may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his children, Dean and Trista Marie; his granddaughters, Téa Skye and Makena Abigail Rhys; his sister Zoy Kyriakis; and his son-in-law Jeff Kerley.
A wake was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connells Funeral Home (977 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94402). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (900 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA 94002). A procession was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at the Greek Orthodox Memorial Park (1148 El Camino Real, Colma, CA 94014).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations preferred to the Parkinson's Foundation.
