He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeFrank and Rose DeMilio DeFrank; his sons, Michael DeFrank and Anthony DeFrank; and his siblings, Joseph DeFrank, Mary Guida, Lena Dapkewicz, Dora Dotta DePaolo and Louise LaBar.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Fetherman DeFrank; his daughter Roslyn DeFrank Hurst; and his grandchildren, Megan Hurst LaPlante, Joseph Niles Hurst and Rebecca Diana DeFrank. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.
