She was predeceased by: her husband Fred S. Carrubba; her parents, Rose Sporofo (Fred) and Sam Sporofo; and her sisters, Rosemary and Nancy.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra, Debra and Fred (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Madalene, Nicholas and Grace; and her sister Helen Kiraly. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Camp Okizu, a camp for children with cancer.
