It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Thielen (Belmont, California), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 30, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. “I first met Barbara in K.C.MO when we began out TWA training. We moved together to NYC. One day Barbara came upstairs laughing because of the note she found on her car. The new neighbor in the first floor apartment informed her that he had contracted the parking space where she had parked her car. That began a relationship that lasted for 56 years. Though we've not lived near for these years, we have remained friends and the memories from those early days until the present are vivid and long lasting. RIP my dear friend.”
