He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Viale and Bartholomew Viale (Batto); and his brother Phil (Rae). He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his sons, Jeff, Ken (Raquel) and Drew (Yolie); and his grandsons, Kaden and Vincent. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
