She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel and Susie; her husband John William Bailey Sr.; her siblings, James Bolden, Samuel Bolden Jr., Harold Bolden Sr., Scipio Bolden, John Bolden Sr. and Susie Mary; and her children, Rowena, Walter Hampton Jr., Jimmy Bailey and Candace Bailey.

She is survived by: her daughter Vivian; her son-in-law Samuel; her granddaughter Ariel; her siblings, Vivian and Joseph Louis Bolden; and her children, Bonita Hampton of Oswego, NY, Jemison (Samuel) of Beaumont, California, Harold Wallace Sr. (Marilyn), James Bolden of Southern California, Richard Bailey Sr. (Cynthia) of San Francisco, California., John William Bailey Jr. (Eydie) and Rhonda Bailey. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
