She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Josephine Moore (Acebo); and her children, Sandi Fletcher (Rennie), Mark Rennie and Stephanie.

Before the effects of Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's took away her quality of life, Barbara achieved her dreams of travelling to Alaska, Mexico, and Hawaii.
