She is survived by: her husband Jay Coomes Sr.; her children, Jay Coomes Jr., David Coomes, Laura Pekny, Sharon Robinson and Michele Kendall; and her brothers, Emmet Slayton Jr. and Bobby Slayton. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
