He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Miranda and Secillo Miranda; his wife Mercedes; and his sister Arnelia. He is survived by: his daughter Diana Martinez (Poncie); his grandchildren, John Miranda (Carolyn), Rose Barela (Dominic), Jamie Martinez (Kelli), Katrina Monarrez and Gilbert Fischer; his great grandchildren, DJ Barela (Danielle), Jamie II, Isabel, Adam Martinez, Paige Garcia and Hannah Hughs; and his great great grandchildren, Nolan Barela and Graycen Garcia.
