He was predeceased by: his father Leroy Pellman; and his son John Hugill. He is survived by: his wife Diana Pellman of Barstow; his mother Florence Pellman of Barstow; his children, Wendy Pellman, Jason Pellman, Laura Ybarra, Joyce Wilston and Michelle Smith; his sister Lois; his brother-in-law Pete Cunha of Citrus Hills; his brother Rick; his sister-in-law Julie Pellman of Barstow; and his nephew Kevin Cunha.
He was a longtime member of the Barstow Moose Lodge they participated in local charity events.
