He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Montiel and Dominic Montiel; and his grandson Dominic Montiel. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Montiel; his children, Christopher Montiel, Jeanette Chavira (Mark), Gilbert Montiel and Arthur Montiel; and his sister Judy Lopez. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
