She was predeceased by: her sister Joyce Alexander; and her nephew Richard Newman. She is survived by: her parents, Billy Hicks and Evelyn Hicks; her husband Tom Lewis; her son Michael Lewis; and her nephews, Ronald Newman and Randy Newman.
In lieu of flowers and food donation, the family ask donations be made in Carol's name to the Barstow Humane Society.
