He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Carruthers and Jessie; and his siblings, Mary Ann Jones of Eufaula and Morris Carruthers (Robbie) of Opelika, Alabama.. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Carruthers of Barstow, California; his brothers, James Carruthers (Nancy) of Abbeville and Alonza Carruthers of Clayton, Alabama; his daughters, Adrena Carruthers-Adams (Nicholas) of San Diego and Katrena Carruthers-Radcliff (Deon) of Los Angeles, California; and his grandchildren, Deon Radcliff, Jr. and Zoelle Radcliff. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
