With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Dennis Lyons Sr. (Banning, California), who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lyons and Amy Lyons; his wife Virginia Lyons; and his siblings, Albert Lyons and Annie Pike.
He is survived by: his children, Keri Lyons and Ronald Lyons Jr.; his grandchildren, Ilunna Alawa, Bethany Lyons and Ronald Lyons III; and his brother Donald Lyons (Marsela).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morongo Community Center (13000 Malki Road, Banning, CA 92220). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Morongo Tribal Cemetery (48280 Chino Rd, Banning, CA 92220).
