She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Luna and Tomas Leyva; her husband Oswaldo Elizondo Sr.; her children, Olga Byars, Otilia Lara, Leroy Lara and Oswaldo "Ozzie" Elizondo Jr.; and her siblings, Jesus Galindo Sr., Oscar Castillo Leyva, Domingo Castillo Leyva, Manuela Calderon and Librada Castillo Leyva.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Leyva Sr. (Sheila), David Elizondo Sr., Isabel Leyva and Evangelina Elizondo Andrade; and her sister Juanita Castillo Leyva. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren.
