It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Angel Salazar of Banning, California, born in Indio, California, who passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorlores P. Montez and John Montez Jr.; and his grandson Jacob Salazar. He is survived by: his children, Roman C. Salazar, Erick G. Salazar, Angel R. Rodriguez and Lori A. Salazar; his children-in-law, Allan Rodriguez Sr. and Mary Salazar; and his siblings, Danny Salazar, Michael Montez, John Montez, Teresa Montez Cruz, Ernestina Montez Chavarria and Diane Lavoie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
