He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Evans (Bob) and Ann Louise Evans (Kingrey); his wife Daphne Dee Evans (Dayton); his son Kent Patrick (Aiko Evans); his grandchildren, Ashley Tomomi and Kaylee Misaki; his son Robert Nathan Evans; his grandchildren, Robert William, Caitlyn Renae and Jack Nathan; his daughter Grace DeAnn (Joseph Commiso); his grandchildren, Joseph David and LilyAnn Grace; and his siblings, Philip Dean (Nancy Evans), Gary Eugene (Wanda), Pamela Kay (Michael Rees) and Barbara Ann (DeWayne James). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Faith Covenant Ministries to further the spreading of the gospel.
