With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phil Mattheus (Bakersfield, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thelma E. Rogers and Avila D. Mattheus; his children, Adam, Flip and Jason; his daughters-in-law, Pamela and Meri; his grandchildren, Katherine, Keith, Jordan, Trinity, Jon Phillip, Raymond, Zoey, Jason Jr. and Christian; his great grandchildren, Layla, Logan, Leo and Amelia; and his siblings, Kenny and Louise. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
During his long residence in Bakersfield, Phil was a long time donor at Houchin Blood Bank, donating 107 times, which equaled 13 gallons - saving 321 lives.
