With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jo Andreatta of Bakersfield, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Jo Andreatta to pay them a last tribute.
Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Joseph and Louise Singleton. She is survived by: her sister Linda Taylor; and her children, Larry Andreatta, Tom Andreatta, Michael Andreatta and Sandra Kneefel. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home Northeast (3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA 93305). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Valley Baptist Church.
