With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence J. Turner of Bakersfield, California, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorretta Dace-Turner of St. Louis and Bill Turner (Heaven) of Upland; and his daughter Sarah Kathleen Turner. He is survived by: his wife Melvita Jane Jones; his sons, Christopher Turner of Ellicott City and Scott Turner of Bakersfield, California.; his siblings, Bob Turner of Bakersfield and Sandy Littleton of Vale, Oregon.; and also, Gavin Turner, Atley Turner, Keegan Turner and Eleanor Turner.
