He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fairris and Willie Fairris (Lay). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Christine Randall Nielsen (Dave) and John Jr.; his grandson Trevor Baldwin (Sheri); his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Cambria; his granddaughters, Carolyn Romero (Jaime) and Sarah Flippin (Wesley); his great grandchildren, Brody, Layla and Sadie; his grandsons, Weston Fairris and Jason Fairris (Suma); and his great grandchild Cooper.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Ivy Park (4301 Buena Vista Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93311).
