She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola May and John Franklin Godwin; her husband John Leon Burns; and her children, Joannie Francine Eby, James DeWayne Barnes (Jim), John Leon Burns, Jr., Teresa Diane Hagebusch (Teri) and Connie Kay Selves.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Lynn Nichols. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
