With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Marie Mabry (Bakersfield, California), who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Helen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Hoyle and Lucy Hoyle (Poteau). She is survived by: her son Dennis; her husband Matt Mabry; her son Travis; her grandson Vic; and her children, Donna Bushman of Bakersfield, Linda Busbea (Jesse) and Vic Mabry (Stacy) of Bakersfield. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideons International in memory of Helen Mabry.
