He is survived by: his child Chando; his wife Beatrice R. Marquez; his children, Bertha Barrera (Vidal Barrera III) and Gilbert Gomez Jr. (Ruby); his grandchildren, Lauren Barrera, Vidal "Dutch" Barrera IV, Alexandria Gomez-Scheunemann (Zachary) of Cirilo and Margeaux Barrera; his great grandchild Henry Oliver Scheunemann; and his family Gilbert. He is also survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
