With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther B. Mora (Bakersfield, California), who passed away on January 8, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Esther had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Esther may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Cantu and Raymond Mora (Nena); her grandchildren, Teri Schaufelberger, Jay Walker (Mary) and Raequell Duran (Walker); her great grandchild Tommy Sinclair (Cassandra); her great great grandchild Thomas; and her sister Beatrice Palomo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Historic Union Cemetery (730 Potomac Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93307). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 5917 Knudsen Dr, Bakersfield, CA 93308.
