It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Montgomery (Bakersfield, California), who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Mae McDade and Robert Bud McDade; her siblings, Ruthie Weathers (Larry), Mary Staton and Robert McDade Jr.; her son Anthony English Sr.; and her grandson Tazmein English.
She is survived by: her former spouse Carol W. English; her husband Charles Montgomery; her children, Odell Montgomery, Reva Moseray and Christina English; her brothers, Robert Jones (Lavanda) and Rodney McDade; and her grandchildren, Porcha Clark, Anthony Dabbs (Tameca), April Etheridge, Konasha Watson, Andretta Smith, DeAndre Smith, Quantaye Jones, El'Teanna English, Constance English, Anthony English Jr. (Jana) and Anthony English III.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St, Bakersfield, CA 93306). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Historic Union Cemetery (730 Potomac Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93307).
