She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Slonaker Arvidson and Bessie Irene Arvidson. She is survived by: her husband Danny Wood; her stepchildren, Jason Wood (Melissa) and Tiffany Mashburn (Gary); her grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Jordan and Calyn; her sisters, Janet Garcia (Mark) and Bonnie Tullos; her niece Tracy McCarter (Brian); and her nephews, Robert Garcia (Cheng) and Eric Garcia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
