She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ernest Allan Shields and Jean Marie Shields; her sons, Gregory Allen Shields and Brian Montsinger; her daughters-in-law, Yinnela Shields and Hee Jeong Yang; her grandchildren, Alexandra Shields, William Montsinger and Catherine Montsinger; her sisters, Carol Apperson, Karen Shields and Sharon Newbry; and her pets, Sushi, Molly, Cali, Cliff, Roxie, Munchkin, Bob, Buddy and Raphael.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice in her honor.
