She was predeceased by: her parents, Aurora Cruz and Jesus Dominguez; her husband James William Beals; and her daughter Alma Juarez. She is survived by: her children, Andres Barragan (Emma Barragan), Carmen Hernandez (Steven Hernandez) and Aurora Maldonado (Carlos Maldonado). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
