He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Jones; his former wife Debbie Woodgates Jones; his mother Ella Burris Jones; and his sister Deborah Jones Zahner. He is survived by: his wife Edie Pettit Jones; his daughters, Sarah Flores (Roberto) of Torrance and Emily Elizondo (Will) of Clovis; his grandchildren, Sylvia Flores, Leah Flores, Jonathan Flores and Anthony Elizondo; and his siblings, Byron Jones, Kathy Turner, Sally Massey, Jeanette McArthur and John Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He struggled with the effects of Alzheimer's/Dementia.
