It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Threatt of Bakersfield, California, who passed away on February 19, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas L. Hoffman and Dorthy I. Hill; her sister Mary; her husbands, Jack Kurtz, Robert Hendrix and Ralph Threatt; and her stepson David Threatt.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie Kurtz of Bakersfield, Larry Kurtz (Jenny), Dennis Cheever (Gail) of Bakersfield and Steven Hendrix (Gail) of Lake Havasu. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She asks that in lieu of flowers, you can donate to your local animal shelter in her honor.
