He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Robinson and Ina Mae Robinson (Griffin); his wife Frances; and his sons, Alonzo Jr. and Sean Allen.

He is survived by: his children, Lakeisha Smith (Corey), Theresa Robinson, Marzette Kinder (Belinda), Devon Allen and Tenniro Wall; and his sister Meedie Monegan. He is also survived by Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
